MELANIE A. ELLS

A native of Southern California, Melanie A. Ells moved to Texas to attend Baylor University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in 2000. She then moved back to Southern California and obtained her law degree from Chapman University in 2003. At Chapman, she served as the senior articles editor of the Chapman Law Review from 2002-2003.
Also, Ms. Ells was an extern for the Honorable Gary A. Feess in the United States District Court for the Central District of California during her Spring semester of 2002 and an extern with the Legal Research Department of the Orange County Superior Court during the Summer of 2001.
After law school, Ms. Ells moved to Las Vegas to clerk for the Honorable Peggy A. Leen of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada from 2003 to 2005. She is a member of the State Bars of Nevada and California as well as the Howard D. McKibben American Inn of Court, Foundation for the Relevant Education About the Law (Project R.E.A.L.), Nevada Justice Association, American Association for Justice, Clark County, Orange County, and American Bar Associations.
Ms. Ells is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for District of Nevada, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
