Firm Overview
White and Wetherall, a Nevada based law firm with offices in Las Vegas and Reno, provides the highest quality representation to those who have been injured because of someone else's negligence. Whether it's because of an auto accident, personal injury, defective prescription or over-the-counter drug, medical malpractice, product liability, wrongful death, nursing home negligence, elder abuse, premises liability, or some other form of negligence, we provide tough, knowledgeable and compassionate representation.
We are not a "settlement factory" processing thousands of cases a year. We give individual attention to each client, and if a fair and reasonable settlement is not offered for our client's injury, the corporations and their insurance companies and their attorneys know we will take the case to trial. That often leads to better settlements for our clients.
The Law Offices of White and Wetherall started in 1986 as the Law Offices of Geoffrey White. The firm soon established itself as a leading Nevada law firm in the areas of personal injury, products liability and medical malpractice.
In 1995, White and Wetherall, with other members of its trial team, won the first verdict in the United States against Dow Chemical Co. (a $14.2 Million dollar judgment) for its negligence in connection with the manufacturing and marketing of defective breast implants.
In 2001, Stewart White became a partner in the firm. During this period, White and Wetherall successfully represented clients in serious personal injury cases, as well as many people who were injured by the diet drugs Fen-Phen and Redux. In 2004, Peter Wetherall became the fourth partner, adding to the success of the firm, and the name became White and Wetherall.
