Lindsay K. Eaton

Attorney

Lindsay Eaton, originally from Chicago, Illinois, moved to Nevada in 2000 to attend the University of Nevada, Reno, where she earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice and graduated with Highest Distinction Honors. Additionally, she was a scholarship recipient as well as a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Golden Key International Honour Society, Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society, and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society.

Prior to law school, Lindsay worked for the Founder of E-Bay, providing risk management and executive protection services. She also worked for the former Governor of Nevada, the late Kenny Guinn, in the Homeland Security division.

Lindsay attended Golden Gate University, School of Law in San Francisco, California. During law school, Lindsay was active in student organizations and served as a Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, and mentor to law students. She was a scholarship recipient, named to Dean’s List consecutive semesters and received the Witkin Award in Special Problems in Civil Procedure. In addition to her J.D, she obtained a Business Law Specialization Certificate with Distinction.

Concurrent to her law practice, Lindsay serves on the Golden Gate University Alumni Association Board of Directors. Lindsay was named Golden Gate University Volunteer of the Year, 2011, for her extensive work with an alumni program, Griffin Connect. She is also an active member in the American Business Women’s Association, having served on both local and national committees. In her spare time Lindsay enjoys participating in outdoor activities, traveling, and volunteering her time.

Melanie A. Hill

Of Counsel

Melanie A. Hill, a native of Southern California, moved to Texas to attend Baylor University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in 2000. She then moved back to Southern California and obtained her law degree from Chapman University in 2003. At Chapman, she served as the senior articles editor of the Chapman Law Review from 2002-2003 and a member of the Chapman Law Review from 2001-2002.

Also, Mrs. Hill was an extern for the Honorable Gary A. Feess in the United States District Court for the Central District of California during her Spring semester of 2002 and an extern with the Legal Research Department of the Orange County Superior Court during the Summer of 2001. Mrs. Hill also worked on the Catholic Church molestation litigation representing victims of abuse as a law clerk at Manly & McGuire in Orange County, California during law school.

After law school, Mrs. Hill moved to Las Vegas to clerk for the Honorable Peggy A. Leen of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada from 2003-2005. She is a member of the State Bars of Nevada and California. Mrs. Hill is on the Advisory Board for Advanced Technologies Academy and a Committee Chair for the Internship/Experiential Committee.
